Christine, who began her journey with InsureWise as an intern in Spring 2019, now plays a pivotal role in the organization. Holding a Bachelor’s degree in HR Management from Louisiana State University, she expertly manages all HR functions and oversees the agency’s accounting.

 

Q&A with Christine

What do you do at our company?

I started at InsureWise as an accounting intern in 2019, and over the years my responsibilities have grown. Now I handle administrative tasks including Human Resources and Accounting.  

 

What do you like most about working here?

The best part about working here is the level of care and understanding Maria and Chris have for their staff. They were flexible and worked with my schedule when I was attending LSU and working at InsureWise as an intern.

 

What’s the most unique thing about working here?

The most unique thing about working here is that InsureWise and RiskWise operate in the same building and often work together. We have clients that both RiskWise and InsureWise provide services for and it’s gratifying to see how we can help clients in both areas of their business.

… Also, I love the office dogs, Honey and Cinnamon!

 

How have you grown professionally while on our team?

Being part of this company has allowed me to gain valuable experience and expand my professional skills. Starting as an accounting intern, my responsibilities have increased and I have grown to become more confident and capable in my administrative role.

 

What do you like to do when you’re not at work?

I like to relax at home, go to the gym, or hang out with friends/family depending on the day!

 

Do you have any hobbies?

I wish I could say I do. I’ve been so busy these last few years with college and big events. Hopefully in 2023 my life will slow down enough for me to get into a hobby!

 

Are you bingeing any shows?

I finished watching The Office so now I’m watching Keeping Up With The Kardashians from the beginning.

 

What is one thing you cannot live without?

My dog, Maggie. She got me through college!

 

What’s something most people don’t know about you?

That I changed my major 4 times in college. I thought I wanted to be a dermatologist until I realized I’m terrified of needles! It’s funny actually; we can laugh about it now hahaha
